I’ve never dyed my hair. Not sure why but I think it was because I never thought I was grey enough. How times have changed. A recent trip to the barber made it very clear that I was more grey than I had thought. Salt and pepper fell in clumps onto the overall/gown.
I can accept it. It’s only natural. But if there was a way to make a statement with newly discovered grey hair? What if you could embrace the change and show that you are not afraid of wearing the natural progression of time on your head? This month I have been trialling a new shampoo that, I think, will help me showcase the grey that is taking over my hair.
Infuse My. Colour Wash
My. Hair Care has released 5 shampoos under the Infuse My Colour Wash brand. They are Ruby, Copper, Gold, Cobalt and Platinum. Each has a different use but the one I am particularly interested in is Platinum.
Denis Kovalyov, Creative Director says:
“ Infuse My. Colour Wash Platinum will give ‘sparkle’ back to grey/platinum hair that is not coloured or dyed. Great for men who want to sport the ‘silver fox’ trend.”
Infuse My Colour Wash is a vegan, biodegradable colour for immediate refreshment and tone. Developed with a unique high-performance blend that is eco-friendly while also being gentle – Infuse My. Colour Wash is 100% Vegan and contains 0% Sulphates, Silicones or Parabens.
The shampoo is a shocking blue iridescent colour that took me by surprise. I don’t think I was applying enough, initially, as It wasn’t lathering as I was expecting it to. The instructions do clearly say, use a generous amount. But I was being a bit tight. At £14 a bottle I was determined to make it last but that’s a false economy. I eventually settled into a routine and within about a month, I started to notice the difference. I could see a brilliance in my grey.
